Simrad sign up Japan Marine as exclusive distributor in the middle east

Simrad Yachting - a leader in the design and manufacture of world-class marine navigation, autopilots, radars, communications and fishfinding systems - has announced Dubai-based marine navigation and communications company, Japan Marine General Trading, as its exclusive distributor of Simrad leisure products.

Japan Marine, founded in 2001, will be supplying the full range of Simrad leisure products throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region including new products such as the BSM-2 Broadband Sounderª module; the

NSO Offshore navigation system and the new NSE 2.0 navigation system.

The appointment has been made following the solid reputation Japan Marine has built supplying the full range of Lowrance electronics including the award-winning HDS, the Broadband RADAR and the impressive StructureScan system.

Simrad International Sales Director for the GCC region, Simon Claxton, said: "The GCC represents a huge opportunity for Simrad. As demand for high-quality, advanced marine electronics continues to grow, we are ideally placed to provide an innovative product portfolio for the Middle East."
